WEEK 3 OF QUARANTINE

I got to see the sun again this morning ( HOORAY ), which is a good thing being that we are quarantined in Michigan.  I just witnessed my 3rd full week of no incoming income go by as an independent, self employed, contractor manicurist so that’s been fun.  The struggle is REAL for me, for you, for everyone really, yet I still choose every day to show up for my life dressed like I have somewhere to be.  I don’t want the universe to misunderstand my vibration so for me, getting dressed in street clothes, doing my hair & putting on some pretty lipstick is sending the vibes that I’m still here, present & ready to go.

Ironically during this 3 week lull, I have read a few books that have reminded me that happiness is a choice, even within the most obscure circumstance.  So yesterday I chose a dance party & did Zumba as my form of movement because I can see the effects of this quarantine taking a toll on my energetic body leaving me to feel heavy at times.  Energy attracts like energy & I want to continue to attract whatever the universe is offering regardless of what Mother Earth is currently doing. She is respectfully in charge of taking care of her planet, just like I am responsibly in charge of taking care of my own circumference.

I have deliberately gone back to some of my “root music” for healing, listening to the Native American drumming sounds that reminds me that my body is in my spirit & not the other way around.  The rhythm for me feels very grounding, reconnecting me back to Mother Earth where all this has started.  If you watch the animals in nature right now, they are the ones no longer confined & quarantined to the outskirts of human existence, coming back out to the land they once roamed freely not fearing for their lives. hmmm interesting.

Here are my top 5 quarantine energy boosting sanity tips:

  1. Get up every morning believing you have a purpose for that day.  (Mental work)
  2. Do some sort of body movement (work out, yoga, qigong, dancing) that stimulates the flow of energy, generating an output so the universe can continue to connect to you.  (This is important to your spirit)
  3. Eat the majority of your food FRESH & HEALTHY. Pretend your body is its own earth, everything that you put into it will either encourage its health & longevity or damage & pollute its existence.  (Your body needs a clean place to prosper especially right now)
  4. Go outside & get some fresh air.  There is healing energy is the air you breath outside & nature is a vital resource to our psyche. (This is a huge emotional advantage)
  5. Read or listen to something that will inspire your growth during this time.  Fear & hate based media will only encourage that emotion to prosper, making the time of isolation a toxic mess.  Stop fighting & arguing with people that suffer from a form of mistaken behavior.  Its useless while sending the wrong message outbound.  This is the time to really be protecting & nurturing your expendable energy. CHOOSE WISELY.

I think we have been given so many RED flags over the last few decades with our human behavior & nature that now, nature decided to really get our attention since the other signs were so easily ignored.  Is our species going to be humbled to its core since the human condition is man made that is completely out of sync with the natural balance of this planet?  As a collective whole, the energy is now tilting in favor of nature once again because we are so fucking unbalanced as a people, society, environment, nation, world & the biggest question I ponder is are we able to learn from another one of Mother Natures planet self healing project?
